Hand Carved Stone Lettering Unlike the majority of companies selling "crafted" stone products, at StoneandGardens we are continuing the tradition of carving words into stone by hand. We use only a mallet and chisel to create a truly unique piece of work with aesthetic qualities machining cannot achieve. We carve stone using two quite different methods, V-incision and Relief carving, demonstrated by examples of work with prices below, click here for more details on each technique. Each piece is undertaken as an individual commission so prices are only intended as a guide.
